I have earned my Associates of Arts degree, and felt it was necessary to continue on with obtaining a Bachelors degree in order to expand my career options.I furthered my education by adding on my Secondary Teaching Certification, as well as student teaching experience and employment within the Caldwell School District to add to my teaching resume. I have always been passionate about art. I am fortunate to have learned my skill from some very talented and capable professors who I admire; I know I have the ability to successfully teach students at all ages and knowledge levels. I have spent much time volunteering at a local elementary school, not only teaching art, but helping out with other duties as well. I enjoy teaching and helping others in any way that I can. I completed my student teaching in Fall 2009 where I taught grades 7-9 Art Foundations and Drawing. I immensely enjoyed student teaching and was sad to leave.
