My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : I am an elementary Math specialist by day in a public school system, so I have worked with all grades K through 8. But I do feel more comfortable with Grades K through 5.

As a college graduate and a teacher, I have aspired to help students from K through college to achieve their goals and to be the best they can be. I would say that it is a little more toward laid back. Being over 6" tall, stocky, pushing hard, being an ogre, hard-nosed, that isn't going to work for me. People have a tendency to be a bit intimidated and fearful because of my size. I will use it to my advantage if it is necessary, or becomes necessary, but I've found being a little more quiet, reserved and coaxing the student to initiate the discussion is a little better. Ask leading questions, adjust and proceed, based on their response.
