For the greater part of my life I have been involved in various facets of education. I have acted as substitute teacher at the middle and high school levels for a total of 10 years, 8 of which were spent at 12 schools in Vermont and 2 at 10 schools in Hernando County FL. I held the position of Senior ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) with a highly reputed language school in Vienna, Austria for a period of 2 years and have offered ESOL instruction as a volunteer teacher at the Tarpon Springs campus of St. Petersburg College and with the Hernando County branches of H.E.A.R.T. and R.S.V.P. A Little Bit About Me...

Literally all my life I have been asked by students, parents and teachers to help students who were having trouble. I get tremendous fulfillment from watching someone who has been frustrated finally "get it." In addition to teaching music lessons, tutoring all subjects, and homeschooling my own two children, I have worked for the last 17 years with a private school. There I have taught a wide variety of subjects, but they depend on me the most heavily for high school sciences and maths. I am currently a registered substitute teacher, state certified to teach music and high school math, and I am working toward certification in more subjects.
