I am a passionate, driven, ambitious learner and teacher. I graduated Valedictorian of my High School with a 4.0 GPA and Summa Cum Laude from College with 191 credits and a GPA of 3.92. I completed a double major and the Honors Program as well as two semesters studying abroad in 5 years of undergraduate study. I have tutored and coached in a variety of settings and have experience with many learning styles and levels of achievement. Most of all, I love to read, write, and especially learn and love to share this passion with others.
I believe that if a student doesn't understand what is being taught, part of the fault lies in the way the information is being presented. As a student at Western State College in Gunnison, CO I have been tutoring students and fellow athletes in Math for the past year. I have enjoyed the work I have done so far in this area and was looking to further my experience in this field throughout the Gunnison area. I expect to graduate with my BA in 2011.
