I am receiving my Bachelors in Marine Biology at Rollins College in May 2012. I have had experiences in many different disciplines within Marine Biology. I have worked in a biological stockroom for four years in addition to performing experiments in a lab, so I am very familiar with scientific techniques and equipment. I have taken part in multiple field studies, where I have sampled environments and classified organisms present in that environment. I have also worked on a formal research project at Florida Atlantic University, studying the presence of a parasite in bivalve populations along the Indian River Lagoon. I've been a teacher's unofficial little helper since I was in Elementary, helping the students of my class that the teacher simply didn't have the extra time to help. From then on, I helped and even eventually taught my younger siblings when the current school system left them in the dust, and even helped them get a leg up and advance faster than their classmates. I've tutored a few younger kids in various subjects in my high school years, as well as occasionally teaching Taekwondo classes.
My teaching style is flexible, tailored to the specific needs of the student in question. Everybody learns differently and at different paces!

I spent 6 years tutoring my children who were ESE and ADHD and have been tutoring others for a year.
