I believe a classroom for young children should provide a warm, accepting, and challenging environment. I taught kindergarten in public school for twenty years. I am currently teaching in a private school setting. I teach a voluntary preschool class (VPK). In this role I help prepare my students so that they have the skills needed to be successful in kindergarten. These skills are not just academic skills.
