I've been a teacher's unofficial little helper since I was in Elementary, helping the students of my class that the teacher simply didn't have the extra time to help. From then on, I helped and even eventually taught my younger siblings when the current school system left them in the dust, and even helped them get a leg up and advance faster than their classmates. I've tutored a few younger kids in various subjects in my high school years, as well as occasionally teaching Taekwondo classes.
My teaching style is flexible, tailored to the specific needs of the student in question. Everybody learns differently and at different paces!

A Little Bit About Me...

Over 10 years experience teaching English and writing at the college level. I have tutored and been a substitute teacher at the K-12 level for 3 years. My work and life experiences include being an Adjunct Professor, marketing writer for an international firm,writing everything from a book on a medieval legend to technical journals, as well as being a mother of four lovely, educated, and happy children.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a undergraduate my main focus was interpersonal and intercultural communications. I tutored at a local high school for two years in many different subjects, especially math and english. I spent two years living in a francophone country in Africa and also have two years classwork in french as well.
I enjoy teaching and more importantly I love helping others. I am patient, easy going and understanding. I understand that learning is a process and is not the same for everyone.
