I am a creative person and love to bring that creativity into the tutoring session. I create my own notes to explain the textbook concepts and my own problems that are similar to what the student will be tested on. I like to use index cards, poster board, and whatever else will help bring the concepts to life for the student. My explanations change depending on what life experience the student has. A person who has been in the business community for twenty years will have a different perspective than a nineteen year old who has never worked.
