I have a BSc in molecular biology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. I have taught upper division laboratories at the college level, and previously worked as a scientist for the UFCVM where I participated in a wide variety of research and professional medical projects. I have graduated from two technical courses in the air force and was a distinguished graduate from both. I graduated with honors from the Air Traffic Control Operators Course in 1983 with a 97% average. I was selected for instructor duty in 1986 and received extensive training on various instructing and teaching modalities along with counseling techniques. I enjoyed teaching so much that I went back to that profession, once again teaching for the air force from 2001-2003.
