A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching children from third grade and up. I am very patient, and easy-going. My goal is get students to see real world applications for each subject I tutor. I teach in an auditory-visual way, to provide the basics necessary for students to reach their potential. I relate to children on their level, and help them to see new ways to look at their work. I have a BS in Business and have worked in Mortgage and Banking for many years. This industry requires excellent written communication skills as well as practical math skills. I have been a substitute teacher for grades K - 12 for the past year in all subjects and have C-Best Certification. I am very familiar with the curriculum and I have an excellent rapport with students.

I love making a difference in a child's life, whether it is academic or to get them organized to be more successful in the long run. I feel that I am patient and lack judgment on the child as each child is different and learns in different ways.
