I enjoy teaching and working with students of all ages. Learning happens best in an environment of mutual respect, and I am always learning from my students even as I teach them. I encourage students to think through their learning process, to ask questions, to explain things to me in their own words to promote understanding, to learn how to find information, and to consider how what they are learning applies in their daily lives.
I am a licensed attorney and a skilled writer. I earned two degrees from the University of Arkansas: a BA in Political Science and International Relations, and a BA in Spanish and European Studies.
