I believe that learning Math is really very similar to learning a foreign language. I see my job as helping students to become familiar with the "words" and grammar of math so that they can learn to read, understand, and write the language of numbers.
I worked as a Math Tutor throughout college. Since graduating I have occasionally worked with students in a tutoring center and I have helped my own children and their friends in a home setting. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style involves simplification. When helping people with math I often find that many have a tendency to overcomplicate things and therefore become confused. If the content is broken down and explained in simple, easy-to-grasp terms, I find that it is much easier to learn.
I am a senior in high school and am taking advanced math classes. I have taken Algebra, Geometry, and Math Analysis classes and am currently in Calculus.
