I have always approached a teaching lesson as a learning opportunity. Learning is a fundamental skill. If you don't have your basic fundamentals, your student will have difficulty advancing. So, I always start with basic fundamentals such as; note taking, study skills, and comprehension! All sciences demand the ability to link concepts together. Ex. cells make up tissues, tissues make up organs, organs make up organ systems,etc.....! I believe my style of teaching is unique and what I would of liked to have access to as I was learning myself. I have to agree computers and all there errors they give and slow speeds, really what do you do? I teach in a way so you can teach yourself. I think of it is harder to remember everything and where it is and I just teach you where to find it. I take the approach as it was a long time ago, if you walk over to a filing cabinet, you open the right door, you scroll to the last name, and pull the file, all the info is there and you didn't remember anything but the last name.
