Teaching is a very holistic activity. I spent the last year and a half working with at-risk kids in a wilderness setting as a Counselor/Teacher. I hold two bachelor's degrees from Mississippi State University. Both degrees were award under an International Business Major. I have taught German labs at the University level and can teach math whether geometry, trigonometry, algebra or pre-calculus. My teaching style is facilitative. I ask a lot of questions and require my students to practice a minimum of 3 examples in front of me for every technique I explain. I started out doing nanny work in college. After graduating in 1998, I moved to Detroit, Michigan to pursue a career in language studies. I became the Language Training Director for a language services company. I supervised a teaching staff of 150 instructors who gave language instruction to businessmen and women who were relocating for business purposes. We gave instruction in language and culture, while providing relocation help to families who were settling in the US.
