I am a NYS Certified School Psychologist. I have worked in an Elementary School building for 2 years and have been working for WFL BOCES for the past 8 years with students in high school. I have experience working with students with a variety of learning needs as well as with students with significant social, emotional and behavioral difficulties. A Little Bit About Me...

Once in a classroom I realized that I was meant to teach. I love working with students who are challenging and those who challenge me. I believe that I can become a better teacher only by continually challenging myself and my students. The key phrase “engaging students” seems less than what is required in the classroom. I want my students to be engaged but I want them to encompass and enjoy what they are doing as well. I love technology and new method topics; I have a very strong math and science background as well as excellent written and verbal presentation skills. As a graduate of the University at Buffalo, I have supplemented my strong academic background with extensive experience in tutoring. In addition to earning a Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, I spent the first two years of college completing coursework in physics. The following two years, I worked for the undergraduate learning center as a mathematics and English tutor, and was hired by a local tutoring organization as a mathematics teacher.
