Hello, I’m an 11th grader at Montrose High School, Montrose, CO. I have never taught professionally, however, have frequently helped my peers solve lots of difficult problems and given a helping hand to my mentors in math. I have an A or A+ in all my classes at school with A+ in Trig Pre Calc which I’m taking this year. I have also been recommended for AP Calculus and AP Statistics by my mentors for grade 12. I’m preparing for my SATs and have been scoring 1500+ in mock test with 780 in Math. I have a great experience with being around elementary school kids since I have volunteered at several places which includes these children. I enjoy teaching children of all ages, particularly on a one-to-one basis. In addition, I learn from the children. A Little Bit About Me...

While working on my BS in Psychology I worked part time as a respite provider for children with brain, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Though I focused more on teaching social skills, I learned first hand that each child has a different way of learning and that not just one style is effective, especially for any special needs child.
