Experienced Graphic Artist and Administrative Manager

I have been in the field of Graphic Arts as a freelancer since 2006. I attained my Associates degree (Graphic Arts) in 2007, completed the Bachelor’s degree (Graphic Arts) in 2011, and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2017. During the last 20 years, I have had four children. They are ages 8 (girl), 11 (girl), 24 (boy), and 25 (girl). My oldest also has a three year old baby boy. I am now living in Boise with my youngest daughter, our cat Macy and a 5 ½ month old puppy that is training to be my service dog. I retired from the Air Force in 2009. I have spent the last five years attaining my BS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Idaho. Throughout those four years I have had several opportunities to help out by mentoring young students. I am a part of a greek organization on campus that has housed many students, of which I have had the chance to help. I have tutored in several areas including: English, Mathematics (up to Ord. I have always been passionate about art. I am fortunate to have learned my skill from some very talented and capable professors who I admire; I know I have the ability to successfully teach students at all ages and knowledge levels. I have spent much time volunteering at a local elementary school, not only teaching art, but helping out with other duties as well. I enjoy teaching and helping others in any way that I can. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in identifying the learning style of the student which can take some time with some. Are they a visual learner I draw pictures, maps, charts and video; if an audio learner tapes, lecture, youtube, video, etc,.. and if a kinesthetic learner then they need the hands on experience to develop the learning that is needed, so then standing back to guide the thought process without doing it for them.
I started as an Adjunct Instructor at ISU for the Geomatics Engineering program for the 2007-2008 school year. Prepare for class setup the curriculum, homework, grading and test for 10-12 students. I went to ITT Technical Institute following that and was offered to Chair School of Drafting & Design. I taught and ran the department for 2 years. I was in charge of 4-10 teachers and 170+ students.
