I believe in the power of education to change people's lives. I have been a music teacher for ten years, a mathematics teacher for two and look forward to another thirty of sharing my passion. Throughout my career, I have taught piano, voice, woodwinds, general music, group piano, and music theory for studios, public schools, and as a private teacher. Additionally, I have taught mathematics as a private tutor and in public middle and high schools. I believe those who can do, teach. As a teacher, I strive to continually learn in an effort to be a more effective teacher. While attending Bowling Green State University, I developed skills such as listening, dictation, improvisation, and composition.
