A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching my two young children. I believe I can teach other children. I am a hard worker with a never give up attitude. I believe I can get the desired results for all kids. I can motivate and tell them some of my great experiences.
I would to teach math because I have been applying math my entire life. I have a four year degree in mechanical engineering technology. I have used math extensively in my everyday job. I have studied math to the Numerical Linear Algebra level, senior undergraduate/graduate college course. I have worked in engineering using the calculus and algebra in daily definitions of processes. I have worked as an Algebra tutor during 1998 to 1999 for Helping Hands Tutoring, in Dickson, Tennessee. During college, I worked as a tutor to other students in my class. Many times I was helping by phone during the night. I have studied Mandarin for 4 years (beginner), and German (basics).
I enjoy teaching and finding ways for others to latch on to the ideas. I teach 4-H Shooting Sports each spring and summer. I am certified to instruct Archery and Pistol. I became interested in teaching while I was working at Delphi Automotive. I trained my own staff while I was there. I have chosen to be a teacher because I believe I can make learning fun for my students. I like to relate subjects to each other so that students can see how everything is actually intertwined.
