Now we have expanded to a center in Oak Park and we tutor all ages, from Pre-K to adults. Our subjects range from phonics to algebra. Our teaching styles vary from a 3:1 ratio, which would include up to three students and one tutor, or a 1:1 ratio which would be a private session with a student and a tutor. My comments on tutoring Math : Willing to tutor up to grade 5.

For four years I have worked as a Reading Specialist Assistant. I helped Kindergarten through fourth grade students learn to read. K-1st, I helped these students achieve the basic foundation of letter sounds to create new words. We also worked on fluency, expression and gaining reading speed. 2nd-4th, I helped these students comprehend the reading material and converse about various reading topics to engage their interest.
I enjoy making learning fun and try to find different ways to teach the material so that it is enjoyable for children.
