I have just finished my first year of medical school at Nova Southeastern University. I have been tutoring starting my freshman year at my undergraduate university, FSU. This problem is abstract and challenging to some people. Thus, I rephrase it to, "If you have 7 quarters in your pocket, how much money do you have?" Helping People Learn One Step at a Time

For the last five years of my life I have dedicated myself to exploring the different fields and ecosystems involved in marine biology. As a college freshman I started by working in a Fish Ecologist's laboratory examining otoliths to map the age, growth, and distribution of fish. From there I was accepted into an island semester program where I had the opportunity to live off of a marine reserve for six months. I generally start with the basics to try and figure out where a student is experiencing any gaps in their knowledge. Once I can fill in those gaps, I feel that students generally start to get the bigger picture and can put together the more complex information on their own. I am a guide for students.
