I enjoy helping other people learn, and I get a sense of satisfaction when they grasp new information. I have tutored students needing help with homework assignments or studying for an exam. I requested that they bring their notes and textbook so that I use them as a reference when teaching. I can either answer specific questions or walk through the material. I ask the student questions about the material to make sure they understand the information completely. If the student is having trouble I will patiently go through the materials again until they fully understand the information.

I consider myself a 'people-person'. I coached youth sports for 10 years and enjoy working with kids. I am a relaxed, creative and centered teacher. I recently graduated cum laude from the University of Rhode Island with two Bachelors of Science in Marine Geology and Maritime Law. I teach sailing and environmental education in the summers.
