My comments on tutoring Saxophone: I am a classically trained saxophonist, fluent on alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone. I have been teaching private lessons for the past four years and am currently the baritone saxophonist for the Real Time Sax Quartet.
I have been playing saxophone for 15 years and have played in a variety of large and small ensembles at all levels including: Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and various select chamber ensembles. I have also done extensive solo work performing a vast array of saxophone literature at many different levels and locations. I have played/taught primarily locally in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York giving private lessons/performances in addition to high school and collegiate master classes. I have also performed numerous times in saxophone conferences held in both Virginia and Georgia. In 2010 my saxophone quartet was awarded a grant by the University of Connecticut to play in both England and the Netherlands.
