I received a technology degree in 1975. Several years later I returned to college to persue a Physics/Mechanical Engineering Degree from SUNY New Paltz and RPI. I was an "A" student in Physics and enjoyed tutoring many classmates. I was a guest lecturer several times at RPI. Due to work and family commitments I did not complete the degree. My wife and I homeschooled our children through the primary grades. I taught sciences. While an Employee at IBM, I wrote and taight technical courses. Physics is my forte and I love talking about and teaching the subject. I am especially helpfull to students challenged by word problems. Throughout college I would host study groups in Physics and Chemistry. I currently am a financial advisor.

I am a very hands on, activity based teacher. I follow the rule of Explain, Example, Exercise. I make sure to have many different types of learning so that each student can be successful. I want my students to be excited about my class, so I am always changing and molding my activities to stay current. I have a classroom that is full of colors, and ideas.
