I was able to get into college for free, as my mother is employed by the college that I was enrolled at, and so I stuck around for several years as a full time student simply for the joy of learning. I have been a substitute teacher for the past two years covering all grade levels from pre-k three up to senior year in high school. I am a Master's Degree candidate in Elementary Education at Wilmington University. I enjoy students at every level and am amazed at what a difference a year makes in their development. I have always wanted to teach. When I was a child I would round up the kids in my neighborhood and make them do lessons that I created. I do remember they did not like that. I went to college and earned a BS in Biology always knowing that I would eventually teach the sciences.
