My comments on tutoring Algebra II : I can teach all HS level and under mathematics.

I have tutored fellow classmates in HS. I've taught my nieces and nephew to understand and love mathematics, as well as respect science, which is really just the real-world application of mathematics. I can explain many abstract topics in tangible ways. I love when I see that twinkle in someone's eye when something clicks and they grab onto the topic they once didn't comprehend.

I will begin by walking you through how to solve the problems. After a few sessions of that, we will then move on to simple exams taken by the student to gauge your knowledge. Finally, we will end with a practice exam to ensure that you are at the appropriate level.
I am an instructor at Virginia College and VC recently cancelled its ASVAB tutoring program. I have had many successful students go through the program, but due to funding constraints the college can no longer support the initiative. I remember seeing one quote way back when I first started mathematics, "Mathematics is not a spectator sport."
