As mentor & teacher I have been a 2 year NYSPHAA student athlete,peer leader,Sr T.I.P.S educator,tutor, and most recently NYS Certified Public & Academic Librarian. Awarded a 5 yr full scholarship to pursue my BS degree in Advertising from NYIT, I’ve rounded my skills w/ a MSLIS degree in Library Info. Sciences from C.W.Post. I maintain my skills in adapting new tech. into the teaching environs, from web 2.0 to distance learning. A Little Bit About Me...

I did my associate degree studies in Classical performance. When I completed my undergraduate B.A. I had more of a focus study on Jazz composition. I was a high school vocal music director 7-12 for one year right after I graduated in 2007 to 2008. I have since then been teaching a wide variety of music classes in everything from elementary to upper level theory and aural skills. I have been teaching private lessons on my free time for about 4 years now and I currently have 15 students of my own. I am a young enthusiastic teacher who feels that I have just as much to show my students as I have to learn from the them.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love to teach children and have fun at the same time. I love to incoprate games, i.e. jeopordy, or watch various DVD's on the subject that I am tutoring. I also realaize that not every student leanrs the same, what may work for one may not work for another.
I am a senior at the State University at Albany, where I am majoring in History. I am aniticapting graduating in the summer of 2010. I earned my AS degree in Liberal Arts. I currently work as a after school counselor at PineBush Elementary in Guilderland NY. Majoring in History, I have learned to write various papers and analized data. I have tutured students also in other subjects such as English, and Government.
