I am cognizant of the many different learning styles of today's youth and endeavor to use each interactive opportunity to the fullest. I would like to think that I am exciting and fun. I know what it's like to want to impress your teachers esspecially when it comes to music so I don't like to put to much pressure on my pupils. I want them to be able to learn at there pwn pace but also know that I'm here for a reason and that I expect an equal amount of effort from them as well.
I did my associate degree studies in Classical performance. When I completed my undergraduate B.A. I had more of a focus study on Jazz composition. I was a high school vocal music director 7-12 for one year right after I graduated in 2007 to 2008. I have since then been teaching a wide variety of music classes in everything from elementary to upper level theory and aural skills. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a senior at the State University at Albany, where I am majoring in History. I am aniticapting graduating in the summer of 2010. I earned my AS degree in Liberal Arts. I currently work as a after school counselor at PineBush Elementary in Guilderland NY. Majoring in History, I have learned to write various papers and analized data. I have tutured students also in other subjects such as English, and Government.
I love to teach children and have fun at the same time. I love to incoprate games, i.e. jeopordy, or watch various DVD's on the subject that I am tutoring. I also realaize that not every student leanrs the same, what may work for one may not work for another.
