The best teaching style in my opinion, explains how to research, plan and write essays, gives students time to practice these skills in class, and ensures students get feedback on how well they have done on each sub-skill. Students learn skills by using them in a realistic, subject-specific context, and in a combined way. So they might use other skills taught before such as note taking, highlighting, all in context. The purpose of the skills are stressed, students are taught not just what to do and how, but also why. The students then reflect on how well they used the skills, what gains they were getting and so on, and then they action plan for improvement.

I am a Research Assistant(PhD) working in the field of Semiconductor Nanotechnology. Philosophically I am trying to understand reality from an atomic perspective. I graduated from NJIT with a MS degree where I tutored Seniors in Maths, Physics and Chemistry for 2 years. Prior to my MS I worked in IT(software) industry for 2 years where I trained my co-workers programming skills. My favorite subjects are Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
My teaching style is replete with visuals and drawing an analogy from nature to help understand abstract concepts of science. I strongly believe students can grasp ideas instantly once they are able to relate textual information (i.e in books ) to a graphical content.
