I began tutoring in the third grade after I was accepted into Independent Study Classes. I was selected to tutor my fellow classmates in spelling and reading comprehension. My volunteer tutoring continued throughout my grade school years and into my higher education career. Once in college, I was hired as a mental health worker and tutor to austitic children.
