After graduating college I taught elementary K-8th grade in NYC. I taught for one year and decided to live Paris, France teaching English. I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work. After 6 months I returned to the states and taught at a Junior High School on the Lower eastside of NYC. I left teaching after 10 years to market computers. My skills as an educator served me well and I did extremely well. After approximately 8 years I decided I wanted to go back to teaching, and have been teaching the use of computers. As a Buffalo State graduate, I have received Dean's List award. I have earned two Master Degrees, Master of Social Science in Public Administration and Master of Science in Reading that helped me to teach to the students who face difficulties in the content area reading. I am exposed to and trained with numerous research-based reading programs such as Reading Recovery, Fountas and Pinnell GRL, and more. As an AIS teacher, I pull out students to teach math and reading skills. Currently, I teach ESL to the adult students as well.
