My teaching style is one of excitement and enthusiasm. I am passionate about the material I teach, and try to convey this excitement to my students without being annoying and over enthused. In the fields of physics and mathematics, I prefer to use analogies and easy to understand examples to help students learn specific principles and to help show them the big picture into which their hard work fits. I emphasize students taking pride in their work and steadily gaining self-confidence.
As a mechanical engineering graduate from Penn State, I have vast experience with the principles of physics and mathematics. I have earned two bachelor degrees, one in Information Systems and Business Processes and the other in Communications and Media. I believe that education is very important and am now continuing my education, I plan to receive my Masters in Higher Education in May 2012. I have worked as a counselor at a young female enrichment program for the last two years, and enjoyed tutoring in Math, Science, Digital Arts and would love to tutor in other subjects if needed.
I have worked at summer camps for children ages 8-16 throughout my entire life, and love making a difference in a child's life. I am very patient and have a positive attitude.
