I truly enjoy teaching. I believe that every child has the ability to learn in their own unique way. I am patient and calm and I get along well with children. I believe in discovering a child's learning style in order to help them reach their full potential. I like to help students feel successful. When a student realizes that they can understand their work, the smile on their face fills me with joy.
I have a Bachelor's in Social Work and have worked in that field for a number of years. I have an Elementary Education degree with an endorsement in Special Education. I have worked as a para-educator for approximately two years in an elementary school setting.
