I possess over 30 years of academic/industry training the areas of mathematics, networking, programming and engineering. Having taught for 2 universities, 2 community colleges and several private institutions I bring to the class both an academic/private industry point of view. Students are taught not only the specific details of the course but are also shown where the subject matter is used in industry along jobs which might employ this knowledge. I want to help students be the best they can be.

I like working one-on-one with students to find out where they are struggling. I am very patient and willing to work on any particular part until they get it right. I always encourage people to try their best. I can relate to strugglers very easily because I used to struggle with math. Along came a great teacher and then math became easy for me. I can be a fun teacher at times but when it comes down to it, I can be serious. I want to make math fun for other people.

We tend 2 not like what we cant understand.Let's change that

I've had a passion for math ever since I was little, which led me to pursue a degree in Actuarial Science. I've taken pretty much every math class that I can think of. From Pre-Algebra to Calculus III, Statistics, Linear Algebra, Differential and Partial Differential Equations, etc. A professor of mine once said that we tend to not like what we can't understand, and there is huge truth behind his quote.
