I have a bachelor in Biology and a minor in Psychology . I'm well-rounded all subjects but I've been a tutor for Writing, Math (k-12), Science (biology,earth science, chemistry), and study skills. I have tutored for many years. I first started tutoring in High School, then while I was in College and lately for the neighborhood children. I have brought younger children up to speed in reading (k-5). I have worked with children in Middle School and High School with their math work. I have tutored pre-algebra and algebra. I have a completely hands on approach to teaching. I work with the student to see what it is they understand and what they do not. From there we work through the different areas until the student fully understands what they are missing. This allows for the student to feel as though they have a sense of accomplishment.
