I will be a graduate of Northeastern State University as of May 17th, 2010 holding a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I will be taking my certification test during the weekend of April 17th. This spring I complete my full internship in Owasso Ok, where I taught 5th grade.
I have been able to experience children in teaching dance for man years. As well as having my own to children. One of which is a struggling reader, which prompted me to go back and get an education to learn how to help her better. My strengths are with all children, they are my passion. I love inspiring and motivating students to learn. I try to actively engage students in learning by using a variety of activities, projects, and manipulatives. In addition I have been able to use reading strategies to help students achieve a successful year of learning.
