I have been a teaching assistant and tutor for the physics department at Wofford College for two years (starting in 2013). This covers both semesters of general physics, from classical mechanics to waves to electricity and magnetism to optics and modern. I have also taken all of the upper level courses available at the school.
I prefer to meet with students who have already looked at the material and are prepared with questions. We can then approach these problems together and solve anything the student was unable to do themselves. If I notice a gap in the theory behind something. I will then fill it in adding a physical example when I am capable of doing so. My comments on tutoring Algebra II : Very strong in teaching this subject
