A Little Bit About Me...

I hold a BS in Mathematics with an emphasis on teaching from Purdue university, as well as a minor in Physics. I have been certified to teach Math by both the State of Indiana, and the State of Ohio. During college I tutored students in College Algebra, first year Calculus and first year Physics. As a professional, I have taught courses in Algebra, Computer Basics, and have tutored in all levels of High School Mathematics.
Ultimately, I strive to teach to the individual needs of the student. Each person learns differently, and each person needs different strategies to help them do so. For me, learning is about teaching a process, not just memorization; it is about learning how and why, not just what to do.
