I have just graduated high school, and have just finished thirteen years of learning. I have ADD, and have had a semester's worth of interning at the Specialized Language Development Center, working with kids who struggle with reading, writing, and comprehension. Kids brought to the center are usually dyslexic, ADD/ADHD, or have some type of learning disability, however, those without disabilities come for help too, ranging from kindergarden all the way to college level students.

I generally give an assessment to find out about individual student needs. When working with younger students, I usually plan a series of activities, and learning games to help reinforce learning. As a civil engineering graduate, I spent a lot of time working with mathematics and achieving a higher level of education. I have always enjoyed working with kids especially in mathematics and athletic activities. I have tutored many college students as well as younger students in various subjects including math, English, biology, physics, and graphic design.
I really enjoy working with children in various subjects and activities. I believe all children have a different way of learning and can all find a way that best suites them. My teaching style is based on how the student learns best and what their interests are. I like to incorporate my excitement to teach because students tend to be more interested in learning when you are interested in who they are.
