My comments on tutoring Science : I am a highly certified teacher (with over 20 years experience) and have worked as a tutor for 15 years. I'm able to tutor all elementary and middle grade level subjects. As well, I also tutor Algebra, general science, earth science, life science, biology, and chemistry at the high school level. My philosophy is to facilitate student learning by using a progressive questioning method where the student explains what he does know and then building from there, each time questioning for comprehension. This enhances not only comprehension but also communication and critical thinking skills.

I have previously worked for an in-home tutoring service where I helped students improve their grades in various subject areas that presented difficulty. The students I have tutored in the past were either in middle or high school.
