Coming from a family of teachers, the importance of education has always been stressed to me. The emphasis was placed not only on succeeding academically, but also to gain a true understanding of the subject matter. I hold an Associates of Applied Science in Community Service and Leadership and graduated Magna Cum Laude. I also hold a Bachelors of Science in Family Studies with a concentration on early childhood education and graduated Summa Cum Laude. I have an extensive knowledge of reading, writing and grammar and have always scored well into the 90th percentiles on standardized tests in these areas. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching children of all ages for over 25 years. My primary expertise has been in music education. I have been employed in public, private and parochial schools throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Not only have I created traditional lessons for children in the classroom, but I have also gained experience as a musician, performing in a variety of ensembles, bands and musical productions. I have used my personal experiences to develop curriculum for all ages of children, with great success.
I use a variety of teaching styles and methods for children. I use various styles of music, composers and performers in lesson plans.
