Physics is one of my top subjects! Have a bachelors and masters degree in physics. Been a teaching assistant for astronomy and physics classes for 6+ years. Experienced in helping students learn concepts, labs, tutoring, and teaching.

Students should come to me with problems, questions, and having tried to understand the material first. Questions are important to me because they help give a sense of where you are getting confused and stuck. Physics and Mathematics are difficult, and there is no such thing as a stupid question. Ideally, students will do reading, and then work through concepts and problems with me, where I help when stuck and point out mistakes.
Began as a Teaching Assistant (TA) in the Michigan Technological Universities (MTU) physics department as a physics lab TA for 3 years. A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my graduate program at Western Michigan University, I taught at least one Business Statistics class per semester, was a volunteer statistics tutor for all undergraduate statistics courses, and consulted PhD students of other disciplines who needed help understanding or communicating statistics in their field. Furthermore, I worked as a part-time instructor for a semester at Kalamazoo Valley Community College teaching Mathematical Statistics. I have earned a BS and MS both in statistics, which have equipped me with an understanding in many areas of math, research, statistics, and science. Being no stranger to difficult classroom settings, I understand that ideal teaching conditions rarely exist.
