I love teaching and learning. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in English and Journalism from Northwestern, I went on to tutor students in Biblical Hebrew while earning my master's in theology. I enjoyed teaching so much that I decided to earn a master's degree in education. While working on that degree, I tutored students in English, reading and math at Educational Partners. I then spent a year working as a high school English teacher in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. I am a type of teacher who like to focus in on both what the students knows and what they don't know. After the assessment, I try to pull those two parts together so that they can effectively understand concepts in a wholistic picture. I have taught all age levels and I am very confident and competent at what I do.
