Having always been driven to achieve academic success, I received all A's throughout middle school and high school and was one of my high school valedvictorians. I then received full tuition to the University of Evansville and continued my academic success. My major required my to put in hours before and after the athletic teams practices and I have learned great time management skills as well as study skills. I am a 2006 Taylor University graduate in Youth Ministry and Christian Education. I have worked in the classroom and churches for 8 years both full time and part time. All of these positions have helps me with my communication skills, both written and verbal. I have taught students in English, math, reading, creative art, music and science.

As the daughter of an educator, I not only grew up understanding that every child could learn, but that every child deserved a sincere smile. Working with preschoolers has certainly tested my patience at times but also has increased my understanding of how a child learns and challenged me to find different methods of explaining information.
