My comments on tutoring Genetics : I hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry from the University of Toledo. My educational background covered a diverse array of topics, including the relationship between genetics and pharmaceuticals. In addition, my undergraduate research involved analyzing the role of genetics in neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

Since graduating from The University of Toledo in 2011, I have worked at a local pharmaceutical company as a chemist. The methods of teaching I was instructed when I obtained my Bachelor in Education at the University of Akron Ohio, from 1989-1991, was the following Integrated, Whole language approach and Montessori. The method we were instructed to use in the Akron city school system was Integrated which uses basic and whole language approach language Arts. These integrated units allow us the opportunity to make sure children are learning relevant information and applying that knowledge to real life scenarios. Language Arts is what I use in all my teachings and lesson plans.

I have a variety of experience. Most of my tutoring experience is with older students, aged 15 or older. However, I feel that I could work with younger kids as well. I love learning, and I get excited when a student fully grasps the material. I try and reinforce a teachers method of teaching.
