A Little Bit About Me...

My paid professional teaching experince includes one year working as a Special Education Paraprofessional for 2-4 grade stundents classified with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. My undergraduate degree from Valdosta State University was in music education.
While some teachers favor a direct instruction approach, I try to tailor my instruction to the growing and diverse needs of each student. Some are more auditory learners than others, therefore, for those you would need a lot of teaching by rote, i.e "do as I do", so to speak.

I am also able to teach any version from 2000-2010. I have also taught QuickBooks, and Quicken for many years. I also know GroupWise, and many other email systems. I have also taught in medical field for EMR systems such as Allscripts, McKesson. I also have a strong knowledge in SQL and Crystal Reports. I also have written courseware for customized classes.
I have an open style to teaching. I believe that if you show someone the subject; allow them to do the task along with taking notes that they retain most of the information.
