I have been involved in the deaf community for 6+ years. I am fluent in American Sign Language. Every student is different. My teaching styles develop around what fits the student best! As a parent concerned about the condition of the public school system we decided to homeschool our last two children. I began teaching them in the first grade and have continued up to, and including, the present time. My son is now a high school freshman and my daughter is in the eighth grade. During this time I helped start a homeschool cooperative.
