I have always possessed a love of helping others to learn. It brings me great joy to witness when an individual grasps a concept which they have been having difficulty with. I tend to use a demonstrator style of teaching by first working through a problem slowly while asking the student questions to ensure that they understand what I am doing. I have worked for an after school program for the past five years. In this position I was able to tutor students and help them with their homework.
