As an online graduate at Kaplan University, I quickly became aware of my priorities. Students seeking help often emailed other classmates for assistance. I was often told there were very few students who responded to their emails; however, I was one of them. I earned my Associate degree through Allegany College of Maryland. I enjoyed this area of study so much that I decided to transfer to Kaplan University Online and continue my study in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting. I attended graduation in Chicago, IL, where I learned no matter what obstacles in life you face you can continue your education if your mind is set to do it. Education has always been my field of interest. When my children were young (8 and 4), I've been teaching in order to match my schedule with their school hours and vacations. With French as my mother's tongue and because I studied in French, I was very excited about the opportunity to serve the Foreign Langage Program initiated by the PTA at Montgomery County Public Schools in MD. I've been teaching within this program until I moved in Western Maryland recently. In parallel, I was a substitute teacher with the county. I passed the PRAXIS tests(I, II, III). Teaching is something that has always come natural to me. Whether its giving golf lessons out at the local country club, or teaching my younger siblings math and chemistry.
