I use the Wilson Reading Program to teach students to read. The Wilson Reading program is a systematic, multi-sensory program that is a twelve step program. The program is a proven scientifically researched based program with measurable results.
I am an Intervention Specialist that teaches high school juniors and seniors with reading and writing. I have also acquired a Reading Endorsement that qualifies me as a reading specialist for grades k-12. Encouraging & Patient Elementary Tutor

I have grown up around kids my whole life. I am the oldest of four kids and my mom has a day-care in her home. I always thought I wanted to be a singer until I decided my junior year in high school I need to pick a more stable job. I took an internship my senior year of high school where I spent half the day at school and the other half as an intern in a Kindergarten class. I taught in the Cloverleaf Schoolistrict for 9 years. I spent the first 3 years teaching as a building sub in grades 1-6. I spent 6 years in first grade teaching all areas including math, science, reading, phonics, and vocabulary. I was very active in the community as well, helping with coaching, announcing and tutoring at the elementary level.
